CAN HPL WIGS HAIR BE COLOURED OR DYED?

Yes, all our hair can be coloured and lightened. We advise using our colouring service or seeking other professional help when colouring your hair extensions, as you can over-process your hair extensions if you don’t have the correct knowledge.

 

 

HOW LONG DO HPL WIGS LAST FOR?

​

Wigs can last from 1week to - 24months depending on how you take care of the unit. With proper maintenance wigs can last 12 - 18months and even longer if you’re not wearing them every day. 

Frontal/ full lace wigs have a shorter lifespan than closure units as they require more maintenance, styling and product usage.

 Sleep in your lace units can and will cause wear and tear/ shedding over time. For best results avoid sleeping in your unit, its also important to give you unit a break once in a while. Constant use of one unit can and will shorten its lifespan (Imagine wearing the same lace top over and over again?)  Ideally, it would be best to have more than one wig and alternate between them every few weeks.

 

 

HOW DO LOOK AFTER MY WIG?

We suggest that you shampoo your extensions once a week using a moisturising no sulfate shampoo and good conditioner, deep - condition  once a month. In between washes, can co-wash your unit to keep it fresh. Washing and conditioning your extensions will ensure that your hair stays luscious and beautiful. ALWAYS use a heat protectant when heat styling and invest in a good serum for added shine. Following these simple steps can extend the lifespan of your extensions.

CAN I RETURN OR EXCHANGE MY HPL WIG?

​

Unfortunatly not. Due to the nature of the items that we sell, we DO NOT offer exchanges or refunds on any HPL wigs or hair extentions. Please be sure to choose the correct lengths, texture, colour and provide accurate measurements before purchasing.

 

 

HOW LONG DOES SHIPPING & HANDLING TAKE?

Once your order is placed and confirmed, you will receive a confirmation email. All orders have a processing time of 8 -14 days (depending on the complexity of the order) to process BEFORE being shipped out. Standard shipping can take 3-5 business days, Express shipping takes 1-4days - depending on where you are located.

HOW MANY HAIR BUNDLES ARE IN HPL WIGS?

​

2 - 2.5 Bundles are used for our standard wigs unless specified, you can upgrade to 3 bundles upon request.

 

WHAT IS A CUSTOMISED HAIRLINE?

​

A realistic hairline created by plucking hairs on a lace frontal to achieve the best natural looking results customised, with optional babyhair.

HOW DO I CHOOSE MY LACE COLOUR?

 

 HD lace, light brown and transparent are used to create our units with an option of customised lace tinting to achieve clients desired tone.

HD lace is the Hollywood of lace wigs, it blends with all skin tones for an invisible look, this lace is high recommend.

Transparent lace can be used on all skin tones as it's the perfect base to be tinted to any skin colour or worn without tint for people with fair skin tones.

Light brown is for anyone with a darker skin tone and can also be tinted to fit your needs. 

 Foundation powder all lace units to help with blending to your exact skin tone.

 

 

CAN I SEW MY WIG ONTO MY BRAIDS? CAN I GLUE IT ON? CAN I WEAR IT GLUELESS?

YES  YES & YES! You can sew our units on, use adhesive or just wear them glueless with the elastic band method.

 

 

WHAT IS DENSITY?

​

The density refers to the thickness of the lace unit, more hair equal increased density.

For the most natural-looking wig, we suggest a 150% density for lengths 10" -  14", 180% for lengths 14" - 18" and 200% for lengths 20" +. 

For a more fuller, thicker look we suggest; 200% for lengths 14" - 18" and 250% for lengths 20" +, we do not suggest going over the recommend natural thickness for hair lengths 10" - 12"

IS #613/ PLATINUM BLONDE HAIR HIGH MAINTENANCE?

​

Yes, anytime hair is bleached it becomes fragile and prone to breakage. When lightening our 100% unprocessed virgin hair we use Olaplex professional bonding system to prevent extreme damage,breakage, strengthen hair and provide salon results.   However, 613 hair comes blonde as its been dyed by or vendor, this hair can be more fragile and dry, it requires a lot of maintance.  

maintance tips: daily application of Argan oil, always use heat protectant, washed weekly with some mosutrising Shampoo (sulfate free) and deep Condition, air dry and minimal heat styling.

WHAT TYPE OF HAIR CARE PRODUCTS SHOULD I USE?


​

 Treat your unit like its your own hair. Use good quality mosturising shampoo and conditioning products, we suggest using Olaplex shampoo and conditioner. Conditioning your hair is very important to keeping it soft and manageable, wee recommend using a deep conditioner or hair mask on your hair extensions once a week, avoid using oil apart from argan oil, avoid heavy styling products, always use heat protectant when heat styling, brush while wet and air dry when possible.
